Since October 2003, SREC has had four pots of funding from the Department for Education & Skills (through Government Office South East) to fund local people from all communities and backgrounds who want to become Community Champions and run projects for the benefit of others in Slough who are disadvantaged or socially excluded.

A list of projects that have been funded so far with up to £2000 will be made available here soon. If you would like to support or get involved with any of the groups, please let us know and we can put you in touch with the Community Champions.
