Since October 2003, SREC has had four pots of funding from the Department for Education & Skills (through Government Office South East) to fund local people from all communities and backgrounds who want to become Community Champions and run projects for the benefit of others in Slough who are disadvantaged or socially excluded. View: Community Champions Fund
